Isn't this a question we so commonly hear, or maybe we are the ones asking it.
Now, when it comes to food; I LOVE it. The thing is, I rarely used to wonder how its made, all I know is it tastes good; blinded by the desire to just eat. Recently however, I have found a new habit of wanting to know how its made. Not just how its made, but where its made and what its made with as i aim to be more healthy from the inside out.
You will find that the products we place on our body often give us 1 half of the recipe in providing us with the ingredients, as this is a legal requirement, but hardly disclose the method. And truth be told, just like our food, we should be aware of both to ensure we are showing good love to our temple-our body.
So, here is a little inside information from Ahuvas blog writer, who just happens to also be the Sous chef in the Botanic kitchen. I say Sous and not head chef because we get our ingredients ready made. Although completely natural, each ingredient has to go through a process to get it into a skin care appropriate state. Whether that be cold pressing, distillation or any other extraction method, the hard work has really been done by someone in a third world country and I must give credit to them by crowning them as head chef. In our kitchen however, every product is hand made with love. The recipes have been carefully constructed and are carefully followed each time to ensure we maintain the best standard and quality for all our clients. Each ingredient has been carefully selected with hours of research and deep thought and consideration.
Rest assured, when we say natural, organic botanic. We mean it.
